Farmington Valley Chorale is delighted to present a digital release of our fall season offering – marking our return to live singing.

About this event

This season, FVC will be presenting a digital release that showcases our Fall 2021 season music.

Our fall season repertoire includes selections from:

“Cum Sancto Spiritu” – final movement of Gloria, RV 589, by Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741)

“Shepherd’s Farewell” – text by Paul England, music by Hector Berlioz (1803-1869)

“A ribbon red as wrapping” – text by Rennie McQuilkin and music by Ellen Gilson Voth, commissioned for the Chorale’s fiftieth anniversary

“A stable lamp is lighted” – text by Richard Wilbur, and music by David Hurd

“Christmas Bells” – Text by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and music by Roderick Williams
